There’s always something going on at Weoley Hill - we are a very ‘social’ Club.
The bowling season starts in April and usually lasts until October - weather permitting.
During the playing season we have friendly, but competitive matches with many local Clubs, and we also hold ‘Bowls Drives’ - fun days - to raise money for the Club. Once each year we also hold a charity Drive to raise money for our favourite charities.
We have a team in the Birmingham & South West Over 60’s League, having joined in 2005. In our third year we gained promotion from Division 4 to Division 3 - promoted for the third year running!. We also now have a ‘B’ team in division 7 of the same League.
And, of course, we have our Annual Club Competitions running throughout the months of June to September.
Even during the close season, we maintain our fellowship with indoor events such as Skittle nights, Whist Drives and a very popular Quiz night
